Whether you are on two feet, two wheels or catching a ride, below we have mapped several ways to make your journey to Moon River as easy as possible. Our primary recommendation is to utilize the infamous Walnut Street Pedestrian Bridge as grand entrance to your festival experience.

How To Get To The Festival

Please note: there is no parking available on the north side of the river in and around Coolidge Park. River Street from Tremont Street to SunTrust Bank will also be closed from 3AM on September 8th until 11PM on September 9th. There is no parking allowed in Coolidge Park for the festival. Any vehicles still parked in the Coolidge Park lots after the closure of River Street will be towed. Paid parking lots are available on south side of the river (downtown) and provide easy access to the festival site via the Walnut Street pedestrian bridge. For a detailed map of all downtown parking options, please visit http://www.downtownchattanooga.org/.

Bike Valet

Moon River provides all festival patrons access to a complimentary Bike Valet for those cycling to and from the festival. The valet will be located just off River Street near Outdoor Chattanooga and the Walnut Street Bridge.

Ride Share

We encourage festival patrons to carpool and utilize ride sharing services such as Uber and Lyft to easily access the festival grounds. The official pick-up/drop-off point is located at 405 River Street, Chattanooga, TN 37045. Use this address to ensure your ride arrives smoothly and avoids road closures.

Bike Chattanooga

Bike Chattanooga is a bike sharing system with over 300 bikes at 41 stations across Chattanooga. There will be Bike Chattanooga stations located around Coolidge Park to use before and after the festival. Stations and parking spaces are also available at some of the TN Riverpark trailheads, making it easy to park your car and bike to the festival. Designed for quick trips around town, Bike Chattanooga is a fun, flexible and convenient way to get around.

CARTA is Chattanooga’s excellent and expansive metro bus service. The Downtown shuttle runs between the Choo Choo and Aquarium about every 5 minutes, Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 11pm, Saturday from 9:30pm to 11pm, and Sunday from 9:30am to 8:30pm. The North Shore Shuttle runs between the Aquarium and Frazier Ave. every 17 minutes, Monday through Friday from 7am to 7pm and Saturday from 10am to 6pm. Please note: shuttle service ends before the festival ends, and the North Shore shuttle is not available at all on Sunday. Seating is limited and offered on a first come first served basis.
